These martingale collars are made from a chain section and a webbing section. The webbing goes round the dogs neck and the chain pulls the webbing tight if the dog pulls. Sometimes also called limited check or half check collars as they can tighten slightly (depending on how you adjust the size) when your dog pulls on the lead, but do not continue to tighten in the way a check chain does.
These collars are virtually unslippable as they get smaller as the dog pulls back on the lead so the dog’s head can’t slip out.
They are extremely adjustable.
Available in four sizes –
petite (10mm wide) – for up to 30cm neck
small (10mm or 16mm wide) – for 25-45cm neck
medium – (19mm wide) – 31-50cm neck
large – (25mm wide) – 41-68cm neck
Please note the weight of the chain increases with the size of the collar.

The nickel plated will rust if your dog goes to the beach regularly or swims in salt water. In this case you should choose the stainless steel chain.
