Dual Ch (T) Callicoma Capella CDX RA ADM ADO JDM JDO SPDM SDX GDM ET HT Chocolate bitch 24/1/2003 – 27/11/2016 Ch Oatland Chieftan ET x Ch Spectre Blacklock Capella is a dual champion – having attained her championship title in both the show ring and in tracking. She became an Australian Show Champion at the age of 14 months and became a Tracking Champion at the age of of 31 months, making her one of the few dual champion kelpies in Australia. She also competes in obedience, agility and herding and has her CDX (Companion Dog Excellent), RA (Rally Advanced), ADX (Agility Dog Excellent), JDM (Jumping Dog Masters), ADO (Agility Dog Open), JDO (Jumping Dog Open), GDM (Gamblers Dog Masters), SPDM (Strategic Pairs Dog Masters), Snooker Dog Excellent (SDX), HT (Herding Test), ET (Endurance Test) titles. Capella lived the first 9 years of her life with a lovely lady in Sydney, but came back to me when her owner became ill. I continued trialling her and finished off all the titles she was half way through (RA, SPDM, GDM and SDX). It was nice to finish what her previous owner had started. We also showed together a few times, winning best super veteran in show more than a few times. Capella succumbed to old age and had a stroke aged almost 14 🙁 6 months old 12 months old 19 months When Capella was 9 years old the sport of Rally Obedience started – she easily got her novice title almost 10 years old Getting her Strategic Pairs Dog Masters title at almost 11 years old Getting her Rally Advanced titled at almost 11 years old.
