Remains warm for up to 10 hours after heating in the microwave for a few minutes. Cover is fully washable. 22cm diameter.
No wires to be chewed – very safe to use. Make sure pet has area to be able to move away from heat if it wants to (ie do not cover the whole floor area with the heat pad).
Although I use a plug in heating pad in my whelping box, I like this if I have to transport puppies to the vet, or for my cardboard box I have handy to move puppies in to during whelping.
Also my older dogs love it inside the cover of their beds in winter.
