Sasha

Sasha was a working bred kelpie. Being bred from working parents she was not registered with the RNSWCC and couldn't be shown. She was fawn and tan - a colour that crops up in working kelpies sometimes, but for some reason is not recognised in the kelpie standard (solid fawn is however).

Sasha obtained her CD (Companion Dog) obedience title and then was unfortunately killed in an accident at the age of only four.

After having both working bred kelpies and show bred kelpies, and loving both, I have decided to go on with the show bred. They have the same enthusiastic and loyal personality, but not quite so energetic - they suit me better.
