Cobber 4 Jan 1992 - 23 Feb 2005 Cobber was a working bred kelpie.

Cobber was a red and tan desexed male. I trained Cobber (with the help of a local sheep dog trialler) to work sheep. It was easy - he knew more about it than me. I just had to tell him where I wanted the sheep to go.

Meg, Pippin, Cobber and Vespa (Meg was a working bred kelpie I rehomed in to a more suitable family when she was found to be too energetic for her first family).

After having both working bred kelpies and show bred kelpies, and loving both, I have decided to go on with the show bred. They have the same enthusiastic and loyal personality, but not quite so energetic - they suit me better.
