Capella lives in Sydney. She is a dual champion - having attained her championship title in both the show ring and in tracking.

She became an Australian Show Champion at the age of 14 months! and became a Tracking Champion at the age of of 31 months, making her one of the few dual champion kelpies in Australia. She also competes in obedience, agility and herding and has her CDX (Companion Dog Excellent), ADX (Agility Dog Excellent), JDM (Jumping Dog Masters), ADO (Agility Dog Open), JDO (Jumping Dog Open), GDX (Gamblers Dog Excellent), SPDX (Strategic Pairs Dog Excellent), Snooker Dog (SD), HT (Herding Test), ET (Endurance Test), EJC (Elite Jumping Certificate - ADAC) EGC (Elite Gamblers Certificate - ADAC) and EAC (Elite Agility Certificate - ADAC).
